ESPN ranks Giran No. 13 in the class. Patrick O'Brien of Phenom Hoops called him a quick and shifty guard with tremendous body control and bounce and described him as a true playmaker who can defend more than one spot. Dinos Trigonis, quoted by SI.com, grouped Giran with Phillip Reed and Will Conroy, Jr. as the top guards in the class at the moment and said he likes the talent, IQ, and production of all three.

SI.com reported that Giran scored 31 points on 12 of 14 shooting, including 4 of 4 from three, with three rebounds and two assists against Sierra Canyon on November 19, 2025, in a 67-65 loss. Phenom Hoops has him averaging 22.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.3 steals a game while shooting 51 percent from the field and 41 percent from three.

SI.com reported that Mick Cronin and Nate Georgeton extended a UCLA offer on November 21, 2025, and that Giran already held offers from Sacramento State, Cal State Northridge, and San Jose State. Phenom Hoops has also reported a TCU offer. He is uncommitted.
