The basics
ESPN lists Rachal at 6-foot-7 and 180 pounds, hometown Chatsworth, Calif., at DNA Prep Academy, status undeclared. Sports Illustrated used the same 6-foot-7, 180-pound listing. Listed as a SF at DNA Prep Academy, and he appears on the California board. Status: uncommitted.
The boards
ESPN ranks him No. 83 in the class of 2027 with a scout grade of 82. 247Sports had him at No. 41. Prep Hoops ranks him No. 71.
The recruitment
He is uncommitted. ESPN's school list, last updated August 17, 2026, marks offers from Arizona State, Grand Canyon, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oregon State, San Diego, San Diego State, SMU, UCLA, USC, Utah State, and Virginia Tech. Sports Illustrated reported official visits to USC (Aug. 20-22), San Diego State (Aug. 28-30), Oregon (Sept. 4-6), and Utah State (Sept. 24-27).
What to watch
Four official visits are already dated. The basketball question is which staff sees the 6-foot-7 DNA Prep wing as a primary creator versus a catch-and-finish wing.
