The basics
Wabbington led Sunnyslope to a 28-2 record, the Arizona state championship, and a No. 5 MaxPreps national ranking as a junior, per MaxPreps. 247Sports lists him at 6-foot-11 and 255 pounds. Listed as a C at Sunnyslope, and he appears on the Arizona board. Status: committed to Indiana October 6, 2026.
The boards
247Sports' Adam Finkelstein called him the most skilled big man in the national class, citing soft hands, touch, and ball-handling and passing for his size, while noting he still needs to refine his body, shooting, and finishing efficiency.
Production
MaxPreps reported 17.2 points, 9.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 blocks a game on 52.3 percent shooting as a junior, a 23-point, 9-rebound MVP performance at the Hoophall West final, and a 20-point, 14-rebound game against Millennium.
The recruitment
247Sports reported a final six of Arizona, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, and Texas. On3 reported official visits set for Louisville, Arizona, and Texas in September and October. That visit list is historical. He committed to Indiana on October 6, 2026, SportsCenter NEXT reported.
What to watch
Finkelstein's skill evaluation points to touch and passing. His physical and finishing notes leave specific development questions for Wabbington's senior season. Indiana now has his pledge, while his college role will depend on the roster that eventually takes shape.
