The basics
ESPN lists Woodard at 6-foot-7 and 205 pounds, hometown Forestville, Md., at Bishop McNamara High School, status undeclared. On3 called him a 6-foot-9 rising senior at Bishop McNamara. Listed as a PF at Bishop McNamara, and he appears on the Maryland board. Status: uncommitted.
The boards
ESPN ranks him No. 50 in the class of 2027 with a scout grade of 85. 247Sports had him at No. 98. Prep Hoops ranks him No. 53.
The recruitment
He is uncommitted. ESPN's school list, last updated August 17, 2026, marks offers from Florida State, Georgetown, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Mississippi State, Morehead State, Oklahoma State, Providence, Rutgers, Villanova, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. On3 reported a Rutgers official visit for the September 19 weekend plus unofficials at VCU and Georgetown.
What to watch
On3 already set the first official at Rutgers. The basketball question is whether the 6-foot-7 ESPN listing or the 6-foot-9 On3 listing is the body that shows up in a published McNamara season line.
